Spook your loved ones every morning with these sculpted and carved pieces of art. This mug is from a limited edition of Sugar Skulls. Each is made by hand sculpting the shape and then carving away the clay and underglaze to reveal a unique pattern and then glazing it with a clear coat and individual color. Each piece is one-of-a-kind.
All of my work is hand built in the pinch, coil or slab method so you may see how my hands manipulated the clay. Each mug is different, and their shapes and sizes vary, but the Sugar Skull mugs are approximately 4” tall, 4“ wide at the base and 3” wide at the mouth and hold about 14 oz.
As with any handmade item, it will benefit from gentle, hand washing and care.
