The color-block pieces are made by masking off sections and applying different color glazes to each section. The masking is then taken off before firing, to reveal a crisp line of unglazed clay.
All of my work is handmade using slabs, pinching or coiling methods so you may see how my hands manipulated the clay with their perfect imperfections. They can be put in the microwave or the dishwasher, but as with any handmade item, they will last much longer with handwashing and gentle care.
Each piece varies, but the pitcher is approximately 8” tall and the width varies depending on the size of the handle.
