Ceramic spoons are for serving your favorite side of garden-fresh veggies or homemade pasta. Mm. Each piece is handmade with a white clay body and this piece was glazed on the ladle with a black glaze with spots of tan and pale-blue glaze which makes it look like an ink spot.
All of my work is hand built in the pinch, coil or slab method. Their shapes and sizes vary, but this is approximately 10-1/2” long and 2-3/8” wide at the largest point of the ladle.
These are dishwasher safe, but as with any handmade item, it will last longer with gentle, hand washing and care - particularly because these spoons are structurally fragile due to their basic shape. I do not recommend using them on anything heavy that requires force.
