This vibrant handmade Japanese tea set includes a beautifully designed teapot and two matching handle-less cups with saucers. Each piece showcases colorful intricate patterns inspired by nature. The teapot has an arching silhouette and a locally sourced driftwood handle encased with brass wire for pouring. **This is a first attempt design tea pot and the design requires that you pour very slowly if full, so the price has been discounted and my design will change.
*All of my work is handmade using slabs, pinching or coiling methods so you may see how my hands manipulated the clay with their perfect imperfections. They can be put in the microwave or the dishwasher, but as with any handmade item, they will last much longer with handwashing and gentle care.
Each piece varies, but the tea pot is approximately 8” tall and 4-1/2” wide. It holds almost 16 oz.
